As a Shift Manager at Amadora Ice Cream, you will be responsible for ensuring that each shift runs efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards. You will oversee staff, manage store operations, and handle any issues that arise during your shift. This is a hands-on role that requires leadership, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Lead and motivate the team to provide exceptional service and ensure that all customer needs are met during your shift.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth daily operations, including managing staff schedules, overseeing inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the store.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints or issues, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
  • Cash Management: Handle daily cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in sales reports, and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
  • Staff Training: Support the training and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they understand company policies and standards.
  • Stock and Supplies: Monitor stock levels and place orders for inventory as needed, ensuring that products are always fresh and well-stocked.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the store.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during the shift, whether related to staff, equipment, or customer concerns.
