Job Profile

1. Technical Leadership: Lead biomedical engineers and supporting staff in biomedical department.

2. Project Management: Assist in supporting multiple projects for timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.

3. Design and Development: Designing the clinical lab layouts including utilities, equipment positioning.

4. Installation and commissioning: Coordinate with diagnostic lab and equipment suppliers for timely installation and commissioning of diagnostic equipments

5. Breakdown and its management :

# Daily identification of equipments under breakdown in each labs & coordinate with equipment suppliers for timely corrective actions and restarting of analysers within TAT.

# Daily coordination with Operations & Quality assurance dept. Coordination with IT department and ensuring interfacing of all analysers

# Periodic visits to diagnostic labs as per requirements from operations and QA for the health check of each testing equipment in the lab

6. Training and Support:

# Train the laboratory team for operations of the equipment and provide technical support.

# Periodic maintenance and annual maintenance; coordinate with equipment suppliers and complete periodic maintenance and annual maintenance including calibration for the diagnostic testing equipments and other supporting equipments

7. Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.

8. Innovation & Research: Stay updated with advancements and foster innovation.

9. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with other departments and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

This role aims to enhance our capability to develop innovative medical solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Maximum Age: 37 years as on 01.01.2025


Basic pay range (For Fixed Term Contract engagement): Rs. 20000 - 40000


Qualification:

Essential: BE / B Tech in instrumentation/Biomedical Engineering.


Post Qualification Experience:

Essential: Minimum 1 year of post qualification experience in maintenance and management of medical diagnostic equipments in diagnostics laboratories.
